My daughter Kylee went to Mommy's Time Out from the age of 21 months to 5 years old. What a wonderful gift it was to her and us to be in such a wonderful place. Kylee is now in kindergarten, socially, emotionally and academically she was beyond ready, thanks to Terri. MTO is like being in a little elite private preschool. My 4 year old son, Ryan, has been with Mommy's Time Out (MTO) for almost two years. In this time, I have witnessed first hand Terri's commitment to my child's well being, education and proper socialization skills. Ryan will be more than ready for Kindergarten next year!! If you want a home environment run like a precious little pre-school where your child is not lost in a large group but among a handful of children and the teacher can tell you every detail about your child's day, this is a wonderful place to send your child! Terri has created a safe, structured, playful learning environment for children. Our son went to Mommy's Time Out daily from 2 to 3 years old. The home setting made our son (and us) feel comfortable. The socialization practice helped make his transition to pre-school easier, and Terri even had him potty trained before he turned three! Our son is now a successful first grader and I credit Terri for being instrumental in his early childhood development. What’s your program all about?
I’m Proud to announce that I use the Star Brite learning Curriculum!
Designed for home pre-school children ages 2 to 5. Every month is organized into themes and real world learning. Some of the inclusive projects on top of our letters, letter sounds, reading and numbers are: stories, songs, themes, finger-plays, poems, games, PE, creative movement and so much more. 

My goal is to build your child's social, verbal and sharing skills. As well as send your child off to the public school system knowing all shapes, colors, numbers 1 to 20, letters upper & lower, all letter sounds and hopefully reading or in the early stages of doing so. You will recieve 3 to 4 Progress Reports each year on your child's progress.

What do you charge?
Half days $34.00 per day
Full days $45.00 per day 

What are your hours?
Mommy’s Time Out is open Monday through Thursday (Friday arrangements availavle).
Half days 9 am to 1 pm
Full days 9 am to 4 pm
**** Need longer hours Prior to 9am/ after 4pm? Inform me of your needs and we can work around it..  If your children are younger than 2 contact me for a referral for another provider.****

How many days a week can I sign up for?
As little as two half days per week all the way up to 4 full days per week.

 
Are you licensed?
Did you know in the state of AZ child care provider’s DO NOT need to be licensed, registered or have any qualifications at all? There are no state requirements to provide child care. Scary!

I am registered with the state, which means my back-ground checks with Adult/Child Protective Services have been completed. I have a fingerprint clearance card. I must stay current with First Aid and CPR. My home is state inspected quarterly as well as fire inspections & health annually. All of the above is on file for parental review.

How many kids do you accept?                                                                                          I am registered with the state to have 6 children in my care at one time.

Payment /day’s off?                                                                                     The days your child is scheduled to come you are contracted for and it should be considered a tuition. Regardless of attendance you pay for your child’s day(s). Should you go on vacation, we do try to offer the days to other parents whom may wish to fill your spots. In that case the other parent would pay for the day your child is absent. Payment is expected in advanced on the 1st and 15th of the month.                                                                                                                                                  

What about holidays?
There are many Federal Holidays Mommy’s Time Out stays open. Should you decide not to have your child attend on a Federal Holiday, please give 48 hours notice and you will not be charged. If the majority of children are going to take the day off, we close for the day to everyone.

What about meals?
I have it covered! I run the Child Nutrition Program, which follows specific guidelines on balanced meals. If your child has a special diet, please inform and we’ll work around it.

What do I need to bring?
You will need to print the Enrollment paperwork read and sign and bring a copy of immunization records if your child is immunized. You’ll bring a few extra sets of clothing to keep here in a cubby. If your child is wearing pull-up's, you'll supply those. That’s it! I provide everything else. I will request funds a few times a year for diapers from those parents with children in diapers.
